Increased Wear Protection

Volvo has created an optional Wear Protection Plan designed to enhance your first three complimentary maintenance services, helping to provide you with the worry-free ownership experience you expect from your Volvo.

This plan may be purchased up to the first maintenance service and/or 10,000 miles.

Zero Deductible

The Wear Protection Plan provides the following benefits with $0 deductible:

Two Coverage Levels:

1) Wear Protection Plan Coverage

Windshield Wiper Blades

This plan covers the replacement of one (1) set of front and rear windshield wiper blades and/or inserts per year during the term of the Wear Protection Plan.

Brake Pads

This plan covers the replacement of one (1) set of front and rear brake pads/shoes per year during the term of the Wear Protection Plan.

Wheel Alignment Coverage

This plan covers one (1) wheel alignment during the term of the Wear Protection Plan.

2) Upgrade Wear Protection Plan - With Rotors

Wear Protection Rotor Coverage

This plan includes all wear component coverage listed above with the additional coverage of one (1) set of front and rear brake rotors/drums in conjunction with a brake pad replacement (excludes carbon/ceramic rotors) during the term of the Wear Protection Plan.

Alternate Transportation Coverage

If your vehicle cannot be repaired in the same day, this coverage provides for reimbursement for up to $40 for one (1) day for the cost of alternate transportation (includes public transportation, rental car service, or ride-sharing service).*

Membership in Driver's OneCard

A Program of Cross Country Motor Club, Inc., that includes:

• Key Replacement Service: reimbursement for repair or replacement of one key and/or key fob annually; $400 limit per repair or replacement
• 24-hour Roadside Assistance and Towing Service: up to $100 sign and drive per occurrence
• Lockout Protection Service: up to $100 sign and drive per occurrence
• Trip Interruption: up to $100 per day for food, lodging and alternate transportation, maximum of $500 per occurrence
• Emergency Message Relay: up to three (3) messages
• Roadside Connect
• Custom Trip Routing
• Turn-by-Turn Directions
• Cross Country Perks

Additional Information

The Wear Protection Plan does not cover brake drums and rotors unless Wear Protection Rotors coverage is selected.

The Wear Protection Plan does not cover mechanical breakdowns caused by misuse, abuse, negligence (including the negligence of any repair facility), improper towing, lack of maintenance of a failed covered part, contamination, overheating, lack of coolant or lubricants, lack of oil viscosity, sludge, restricted oil flow, salt, rust and rust damage, environmental damage, or chemicals.

These are common exclusions. For exact coverages, exclusions and limitations, please review the contract itself.

The Wear Protection Service Contract will not cover the repair or replacement of a covered part that is covered by any manufacturer warranty.

*Coverage is not provided for parts delay, shop scheduling or for work not covered.
